The FAC will join the American River Muzzleloaders in their premier pre-1840 primitive encampment and shooting event. Camp life to be maintained from set-up till tear-down. Drilling and tactical live fire exhibitions. Bring your own water, port potties on site, limited food plan. FAC members can participate in live fire competion offered on the "Trail Walk" by our hosts. Set-up on the 11th. Come have some fun and enjoy camp life and camaraderie!

This is the largest area Scottish Games and our attendance is centrol to portray 17th century life (a Montrose Army tradition for 7 years!) Drilling, impromptu demos, interactions and processions for recruitment purposes. A "Walk Through History" public demo is held daily. Military timeline event - Ancients to modern day - on large, nice site (historical Coast Defense fort on high bluff overlooking the Pacific.) Seventeenth century presence will be Col. John Hampden's Regt. of Foot (ECWSA) and Montrose's Free Artillerie Company (ECWSA). Overnight camping permitted, cooking permitted; Setup allowed Friday all day; camping both nights and cooking permitted on site; secured area, no charge for camping, but small participant fee ($5) charged by the site.
